The minimum age of the renter or any additional driver is 21 years. All renters must present a physical valid driver's license and major credit card in his or her own name. This must be the same credit card that was used to book or pay for the reservation. An underage fee will be applied to individuals between the ages of 21 and 24, up to a maximum of $24.99 USD per day.For domestic and international renters, we require two government-issued valid photo ids and a valid email address.(City Car Rental reserve the right to perform the due diligence before renting)

Additional Driver

• Clients can add a maximum of two (2) additional drivers to a rental contract.
• Additional driver fee is - $9.99 per day / per driver

• Security Deposits can only be made by major credit cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa. Clients name must match the credit card. Cash deposits are not accepted. Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.
• A pre-authorized deposit of $500.00 is taken at the time of rental pick up.
• Security deposit is charged against credit card at pick up and refunded within 7 business days from drop off date of vehicle. Security deposit may be used to pay any amounts owed to rental agency under rental Agreements terms and conditions.

Lost or Damaged keys/fobs

Unlimited mileage is offered only within the state where the vehicle is rented. Vehicles are not allowed to leave the state of the renting location without written permission otherwise, an out-of-state/state crossing fee will be applied up to $29.99 USD/per day .Please check with the agent at the time of pickup. If traveling outside the state of the rental location, mileage is capped at 200 miles per day, 1400 miles per week, and 2500 miles per rental. Additional miles will be charged at $0.20- $0.25 USD per mile. Unlimited mileage is not available to local renters. Local renters do not qualify for unlimited mileage. Mileage is restricted to 200 miles per day, 1400 miles per week, up to a maximum of 2,500 miles per rental. For local renters, the minimum hold of $2,000.00 USD is required on his or her credit card. Any excess miles will be charged at $0.25 USD per mile. Local renters may only rent economy, compact, intermediate, standard, full-sized cars. Please call to confirm before booking.Customers residing within the state of the renting location and holding that state’s driver’s license are considered locals. Additionally, travel to Canada and Mexico is not allowed.

• The vehicle shall be returned with the same amount of fuel as when rented, otherwise a refueling charge will be applied of $25.00 in addition to the charge of the actual market value of gas cost per liter.
• Missing fuel will be calculated by market value at time of rental vehicle return.
• Fuel is not included in the daily rental rates.
• Any unused fuel or over filling will not be refunded.

Rental Rates Excludes

• For Canadian and USA client’s rental rates do not include TPL coverage, CDW/TP coverage.

Travel to Mexico and Canada is not allowed

• The minimum age for clients on all car categories is 21 years old. If client is the age between 21-24, client must pay $24.99 per/day under age fee.
• The maximum clients age for all car categories is 80 years old.

Out of office hours

• Out of office hours’ vehicle return is allowed. Clients must drop vehicle off at our office and leave keys in secure drop box.
• Client is responsible for the rental vehicle until it is inspected by a company representative the next day.

• It is client’s responsibility to check the vehicle thoroughly for previous damage at time of vehicle pick up.
• Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when rented (interior and exterior must be acceptable for further rental without cleaning).
• Our rental fleet is 100% non-smoking. Should you or one of your passengers choose to smoke in your rental vehicle a $150.00 charge will apply.
• Excessive staining, internal damage, or unpleasant odors will be charged to client at our valet cleaning rate of $150.00
• In case that the renter is not satisfied with the car, the station needs to be informed immediately for its replacement

Late Pick Up / No Show

• If the client does not appear within 2 hours after the scheduled pick up time, our company has the right to declare NO-SHOW, and not provide a car in case the client comes to office later.

Vehicle Return Grace Period

• Vehicle must be returned by the date and time indicated in Rental Agreement.
• There is a grace period of one (1) hour for vehicle drop off time.
• Over one (1) hour late, renter will be charged an additional day’s rent. "
